Refund & Cancellation Policy

Koodali Public Servants Co-operative Society Ltd does not provide refunds or cancellations as we are a primary agricultural co-operative credit society. We require a payment gateway facility only to receive loan repayments from our members/customers.

Refund Eligibility

The amount once paid through the payment gateway shall not be refunded except under the following circumstances:

  • Multiple debits: If a customer’s card/bank account is debited multiple times due to a technical error.
  • Excess debit: If the customer’s account is debited with an excess amount in a single transaction due to a technical error. In such cases, the excess amount (excluding payment gateway charges) will be refunded.
  • Unsuccessful transaction: If due to a technical error, the payment is debited from the customer’s account but the transaction fails.

Refund Procedure

To initiate a refund, the customer must:

  • Submit a refund application with the transaction number and original payment receipt (if available).
  • Send the application in the prescribed format to kpscmattannur@gmail.com.

After manual verification, if the claim is found valid, the refund will be processed through electronic transfer in favour of the borrower. A confirmation will be sent to the customer’s registered email address.

Refunds will be completed within 7 calendar days of receiving the claim. Depending on the customer’s bank, the refunded amount may take 3–7 working days to reflect in the account.

Non-Refund Situations

Koodali Public Servants Co-operative Society Ltd assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable if the payment cannot be processed due to:

  • Incomplete, inaccurate, invalid, or delayed payment instructions.
  • Insufficient funds/limits in the customer’s account.
  • Funds being under lien, encumbrance, or charge.
  • Delay or refusal by the customer’s bank.
  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (fire, flood, natural disasters, bank strikes, power/system failures, etc.).

In case of a failed payment, the customer will be notified via email.

Service Suspension/Termination

The Society reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without penalty, to suspend or terminate a member’s account or access to services in case of:

  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
  • Violation of rules or misuse of services.
  • Any other reason deemed necessary in the Society’s interest.

Such termination may occur without prior notice, and the Society shall not be liable to the member or any third party. Any suspected fraudulent activity may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

Upon termination, the member must immediately stop using the services.
